Ferrara Balloons Festival is one of the largest festivals of hot-air ballooning in Europe, with over 180,000 visitors on the 300,000 square meters of the Bassani Urban Park. More than 3,000 flights and 30 teams from Italy and abroad, bringing their many-coloured craft and special shapes, and more than 300 shows will light the green oasis just outside the Renaissance walls of the Unesco World Heritage City. After gaining the “Italian Heritage” acknowledgement, the Festival is going to take place from September, 9th , to 18th , 2016.
